…begins back in 2020, and dare we even mention the words Covid and Lockdown! I had handed in my notice with the police, our boxes were packed and we were ready to make the move to Scotland, then IT hit! Lockdown was an awful period of time, but for me it gave me the chance to re-evaluate and look at redressing the balance of work and family life.

Melt Me Real Good, was a kitchen top activity which has blossomed and grown into something amazing and that in part is down to the amazing customers we have grown with.

I was keen from the outset to use fragrances that spark a memory or take you to a special place. Candles are an important part throughout history of signalling the end of the day, the time to share your day with loved ones and to take a moment for you. By curating a unique selection of fragrances, each one is designed to do just that.

In 2024 we were awarded our first award for Best Home Fragrance Business, and have gone on to be commended for Best Scottish Product and Best Independent Retailer. This is an astonishing achievement, for what was supposed to be a hobby during lockdown and I can not wait to share more as our journey carries on…
